# Exploration Geoscientist

**Location:** Palo Alto, CA  
**Employment Type:** Full-time

Generate the next wave of Octavia's mineral targets. You identify, evaluate, and stake prospective ground — building the pipeline that our geophysics and AI platform then tears apart.

## You'll

- Scout and rank new project opportunities across Au, Cu, and U jurisdictions
- Lead land acquisition: staking, option agreements, and title due diligence
- Build geological target models from regional datasets, historical drill results, and remote sensing
- Own the project pipeline from first look through to data-room handoff

## We're looking for

- 5+ years in early-stage mineral exploration or grassroots project generation
- Proven track record staking or optioning ground that got drilled
- Fluent in QGIS / ArcGIS, regional-scale structural geology, and public dataset mining
- Deep knowledge of at least one commodity and jurisdiction (WY / UT / NV / AZ / TX preferred)
